An irregular plot of land with a city drain going through it, was to be developed into a vocational centre to teach and inspire the young girls of the city. The brief was simple and so was the building that evolved. The section of nallah (drain) passing through the plot was transformed into a lotus pond and the building formed a backdrop to the green.
