Alluri Farms

Form and context played an important role in the design of this house. The plot was long and the built formed the focal point. The square plan dictated by Vaastu, demanded a form which was equally stable, thus resulting in the pyramidical shape. The construction is a takeoff on the Kerala type of architecture where the design allows free movement of air. The deck on the first floor provided the 360 degree view of the entire farm.
